This is the original green screen cut I put together before post work on Dolbyman. It’s fun to see the transformation from green to final. In addition, this cut contains the original David Byrne bit that was removed from the final piece… an important portion that was tough to lose.
This piece accompanies “Score the Light Out” and serves as a back story to Carl the rink manager who shares his thoughts on life, work and the X60.
Green outtakes from a shoot we did a couple of years ago for Capital One’s Mascot Challenge.
We have a motorcycle and a scooter and we take to cruise around on the weekends. This particular spot is only a few minutes from our house. Any time I want to get away I just head up this way and take it in.

“Dolbyman” was a four-minute journey through a variety of musical genres, all generated by the mouth of one man — UK beatbox champion and vocal artist Beardyman. Shot in London and finished at Dolby Laboratories in San Francisco, the original composition of over 200 individual tracks showcases a creative talent in Dolby 5.1 surround sound (this version submitted is encoded in a virtualized headphone technology).
